Understanding the Subconscious and Unconscious

Carl Jung described the unconscious as: the mind encompassing both a personal and a collective unconscious, with the personal unconscious containing repressed or forgotten memories, and the collective unconscious holding universal, inherited archetypes shared by all humanity.
Pierre Janet described the subconscious as: the layers of critical-thought functions underneath the conscious mind that serve as the alternative storehouse of one’s knowledge and prior experience.
That’s a lot of word salad, but let me tell you why I bring this up. How much of our experience do you think is conscious? What if I told you it’s only a small fraction of our waking life? Specifically: 3-5% of it! So, yes, that means that 95-97% of our experience is a product of our subconscious and unconscious. Some, like Freud, used the terms interchangeably. That’s not the point here.
What is the point is this: Why do you keep seeing diminishing returns in your finance goals? Why do you feel like you never have enough energy to perform without making errors? Why do you feel like your teammates are always ahead of you or even out to get you no matter how much effort you exert? Is it because you actually are lazy? Maybe. (Sorry, but for some of you, this has to be said, even though tongue-in-cheek.) Or is it more likely that the part of your experience that drives most of your goals is actually hidden beneath the destructive but learned belief that you will never make it?!
In my 15 years of specialty coaching, I have noticed one constant trend through all of the people who work with me and also with my colleagues: consistency is the most difficult variable. Sure, “life gets in the way,” but what if I told you that that answer is a product of an identity structure that comes from generations before you?! It’s not real!
Now, I’m not saying that we don’t have people and commitments in our lives that show up out of nowhere, but I am saying that the navigation of optimal schedules and goals is way easier than your life leads you to believe. And the reason that I deliver work that includes aligning your sub/unconscious with your conscious is so that you can show up with ease, make your life more efficient and achieve those finance goals, breaking through what your parents and environment made you believe to live like a zombie.
It’s a Huge Offer.
